Two marketing awards for our agency

Best of Brand recognised the rebranding work done in 2014 for Campbells, a law firm headquartered in the Cayman Islands. The People’s Choice was a peer voted honour calculated on the night of the awards using votes from the audience.

Our agency was shortlisted for Campaign of the Year for ‘Cupid Brand Guidelines‘, Best of Brand for ‘Campbells rebranding‘, Digital Campaign of the Year for ‘Chicken Foundation‘, and Marketing Newcomer of the Year – 2014. We were shortlisted in four of the seven award categories going into the CIMPA event, a testament to the body work we had done in the short year and a half since our start as an agency.

The work for Campbells was a rebrand of their corporate identity. We were engaged by the client after only six months in business and with no prior financial services industry experience. The work for Campbells included a new responsive website with e-pay capability, and all collateral material. The unveiling of the new brand identity was timed to coincide with the 2014 Campbells Fund Conference. The conference was the perfect opportunity to reveal the brand to an audience of industry professionals and to carry the new identity through presentation materials, way-finding, and decor. The new brand identity used the concept of origami to illustrate complex work done to an exemplary standard. The new identity highlights innovation and elegant solutions, paired often with a play on words against the image to reinforce messaging. The identity is highly adaptable across mediums, practice areas, and geographic locations.

The People’s Choice award was announced and voted for on the night of the awards. Voting for this award came from the audience of our peers at the event and as such was a significant honour and very much appreciated. As soon as we heard about the Peoples Choice award (which was the day before the event) Pavel pitched the idea of a fun, creative, tabletop item to keep us top of mind at voting time. On Friday the branded Expressing Gloom Gadget (E.G.G) was distributed to each table. A fun, tongue-in-cheek reference to our Chicken Foundation campaign, this simple egg in a branded box demonstrated the creativity and rapid, high-quality work that we are known for.

The CIMPA awards showcased work done by agencies and marketers in the Cayman Islands in 2014. We had a great evening and are already looking forward to the 2015 awards evening next year,
